My Story
My most memorable scent experience also happens to be my (scentsy) WHY......
Back in 2018 after a long battle with lung cancer my beautiful MOM & BEST FRIEND was told that the cancer had metastasized to her brain, she went through a couple of extensive brain surgeries before being told that there was nothing more that could be done 😭
She was sent home to Millsboro, DE from the hospital in Philadelphia, PA by ambulance with my baby sister holding her hand the entire way! While waiting for her to arrive, the rest of us (my Mom had 5 kids) all prayed the doctors were wrong.
Hospice had been contacted and sent all necessary supplies for her to be cared for at home so her hospital bed was set up in her dining room where she had a beautiful view of the Indian River.
After getting Mama settled in and as comfortable as possible I asked, "What can I do, what can I get you" and literally on her death bed where she could have asked for ANYTHING and I would have walked through fire to give her the world, she asked, in the sweetest, softest voice "can you wash my bedding in LUNA" as my eyes filled with tears it was at that moment, only a few weeks after my 1 year scentiversary, that I realized that Scentsy was so much more than just a paycheck!!
My Mom lost her battle on October 3, 2018, 11 days shy of her 62nd birthday (I still have her birthday card that I didn't get a chance to give her 😭)
To this day Luna is my ALL time favorite scent and when I am having a bad day missing my Mama, just the smell of Luna gives me so much peace as it did for her in her final days❤️
My goal with Scentsy is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to make their own scentsperience (yes, I made that 👈 word up 🤣)
